In the different physiological stages of sheep, we should give it enough nutritional feed (such as licking bricks) in time, so that it can grow and reproduce healthily, so as to bring us more economic benefits.

Protein is one of the material basis of our human and animal activities, and is an important component of shaping all cells and tissues. Especially for animals, enzymes that play a catalytic role in animal life and metabolic activities, some hormones that play a regulatory role, and antibodies (immunoglobulins) with immune and defense functions are all protein-based. In the process of animal metabolism, proteins are needed for the renewal of tissue and organ proteins and the repair of damaged tissues; the status of proteins is irreplaceable. If the lack of protein, it will affect the growth and reproduction ability of animals.

The effects of nutritional deficiencies on the growth and reproductive capacity of poultry, with varying degrees of influence at different stages, namely:

(1) The content of protein in the diet is positively correlated with the age of the initial stage, and grazing on pastures with poor grass quality or feeding with excessive roughage will delay the initial stage due to insufficient protein intake;

(2) Ovulation rate The effect of nutritional deficiency on ovulation rate of sheep can only be seen after a long time, and the performance of adult ewes is usually obvious;

(3) The nutritional level of pregnant sheep before mating and before and after ovulation plays a key role in the survival of the embryo, and too high or too low nutritional level will seriously hinder the survival and growth of the embryo, especially when limiting the energy intake of the ewe, the young and old ewe in poor condition will be more harmful and delay the development of the embryo;

(4) In order to lactation, uterine recovery, maintenance of body condition and restore reproductive function, the demand for nutrition is more urgent. If the supply of nutrients at this stage is insufficient, it will often cause infertility, and the interval between postpartum and mating will be prolonged, resulting in nutritional deficiency.

To sum up, in the different physiological stages of sheep, we should give it enough nutritional feed (such as licking bricks) in time, so that it can grow and reproduce healthily, so as to bring us more economic benefits.
